Sustainable Caring
Wellness Group
Our Story
Dr. Monisha Vasa, a psychiatrist specializing in physician health and workplace wellness, saw a tremendous need for resources aimed at individuals deeply invested in their work and relationships. Similarly, Cayce Howe, a mindfulness and meditation expert who works with a variety of institutions, saw a need for supporting practitioners of all types in remaining sustainable and compassionate.
The two joined forces, integrating best practices of mental health, resilience, mindfulness, and self compassion, to create an online, flexible, and accessible program for anyone seeking to develop new tools for personal and professional wellness. As Dr. Vasa said, "The themes of stress and burnout are ever present when we care for the work we do, and for the people in our lives. They arise because caring matters, and touches the core of what it means to be human and vulnerable."
