To enroll in the Certified Sustainable Caring Facilitator program, we recommend that you meet the following prerequisites:
Professional Background: The program is designed for professionals in the healthcare industry and other fields that involve caring for others, such as educators, social workers, and community leaders. A background in these fields is helpful, but not required.
Wellness Background: While not required, having some background in wellness practices, such as meditation, mindfulness, or eco-awareness, can be beneficial for your learning experience. Time Commitment: The program is an 8-month course, with each module taking 1 month to complete. You should plan to spend approximately 5 hours per week on coursework, readings, and practice. Interested applicants will schedule a Discovery Session, pay a $75 application fee (non-refundable unless not accepted), and submit a letter of recommendation.
